Going international is part of the journey
At the EGC, international mobility is an integral part of training. From the first year, each student is invited to place his suitcases elsewhere, for a semester or a full year, to experience a true academic immersion. The school is based on a strong network of partner universities, including the University of California Santa Barbara in the United States, Dublin Business School in Ireland and Hochschule Furtwangen University in Germany.
International mobility at the EGC is:
- 13 weeks minimum internship abroad.
- 4 to 5 months of semester study abroad possible.
- 3 partner countries.
- Erasmus + &Mermoz grants available.

Financing your student stay
Going abroad at a cost, but several aids exist to lighten the cost. Here are the two main accessible to students of the EGC Lille:
- Erasmus+ : finance your studies or internship in Europe during your course. The amount of the scholarship depends on your destination and the length of stay.
- Mermoz Fellowship The Mermoz scholarship is a supplementary grant, calculated according to the family quotient. It is intended for students whose family situation requires increased support to finance their mobility.
Mobility in alternation : Movil
You're an apprentice·e at the EGC Lille or have you just completed your apprenticeship contract?
You have until one year after graduation to go on European mobility.
Before departure, you must register as a job seeker with France Travail, plan about a month for this registration. You will then be explained the procedure for obtaining the status of Intern of Vocational Training, which is indispensable for leaving in this context.

Yes, thanks to the Movil-App system run by the CCI France Consortium, which allows apprentices to experience international work, during or after their contract.
The semester of studies allows for progress, regardless of your starting level.
Yes, the internship abroad of at least 13 weeks is an integral part of the course at the EGC Lille.
The Erasmus+ dossier comes together with the mobility service of the Lille EGC, which accompanies you in all administrative procedures.
